Background

The Palm Oil Crushing Mill Association serves as a hub for palm oil crushing mill operators’ entrepreneurs in facilitating the exchange of information on both domestic and global markets. Moreover, the association aims to collaborate in the sustainable development of the palm oil industry and sector. This involves the presentation of ideas, opinions, and various matters related to the government sector through the association, as well as following the significant announcements and ministerial regulations that could impact the association's members. As a sector representative, the Palm Oil Crushing Mill Association encourages its members to operate their businesses sustainably.

Mission

  • Promote palm oil crushing mill community enterprise.
  • Assist members in resolving obstacles and negotiating with external parties for mutual benefits. Observe and monitor market trends in domestic and international markets to enhance industrial, financial, and economic.
  • Encourage academic collaboration and the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and trade information, along with palm oil extraction research.
  • With member consent, request statistics, documentation, or data about palm oil extraction operations.
  • Enhance the quality of palm oil (consumption) through standards and regulations. While conducting research and improving manufacturing and trading practices.
  • Collaborate with the government to promote palm oil production that aligns with the policies.
  • Encourage production to meet both domestic and global market demands.
  • Establish practices for members to follow or abstain from for smooth business operations.
  • Occasionally organize social activities, sports, and entertainment events.
  • Mediate disputes among members and external parties.
  • Promote welfare in compliance with Article 22 of the Trade Association Act, B.E. 2509.
  • Act on behalf of the association to undertake legal actions from members and external parties and/or legal entities, and/or government agencies.
